Our Story
Steve started Odyssey Financial & Accounting Solutions, LLC in 2022 with the ultimate goal of supporting business owners by providing quality accounting and financial support. Coming from a line of business owners, his mother being the third-generation owner of a lumber company and his father self-employed in the golf industry, Steve has always had an appreciation for what it takes to run a business. Witnessing firsthand the impact that owners have on their communities and the sacrifices they make, Steve founded Odyssey to support them on their journey.
He believes that all business owners should reap the rewards of their hard work and the risks they carry. Prior to establishing the firm, Steve worked at Ernst & Young, where he earned his CPA license and gained valuable financial auditing experience with companies ranging from pre-revenue startups to billion dollar enterprises.
At Odyssey, we work closely with construction businesses (particularly builders and remodelers) helping them understand their numbers and run more profitable projects. We bring deep experience in job costing and percentage-of-completion accounting, allowing us to deliver accurate financials for projects that span multiple months or years.
Our focus is on giving business owners clear, reliable reporting and practical support, so they can spend less time worrying about the books and more time focused on running their businesses, spending time with family, and doing what they enjoy in life.
